Local residents are getting the chance to help those in need this Saturday.
The Weichert Realtors office on Franklin Turnpike in Ramsey is hosting a Community Blood Services drive from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to the opportunity to donate, locals will also be offered a free cholesterol screening with every donation.
According to the Community Blood Services website, donors are needed, and Blood Type O Negative donors are 'urgently needed' in the area.
