Bergen County Freeholder Incumbents Poised to Hold 3 Republican Seats 

All three Bergen County Freeholder incumbents have held their seats on Election Day, according to unofficial results from the Bergen County Clerk's office.

Republicans John Mitchell, John Felice, Maura DeNicola defeated Democratic challengers James Tedesco III, P. Christopher Tully and Lorraine Waldes.

With 65 percent of precincts reporting, the lowest Republican vote-getter, John Felice, had edged out James Tedesco, who earned the most votes among the challengers, by some 1,500 votes.

Democrats hold a 4-3 majority on the Board of Bergen County Freeholders.

REP - JOHN D. MITCHELL — 61,638, 17.17%
REP - JOHN A. FELICE — 61,534, 17.14%
REP - MAURA R. DeNICOLA — 61,770, 17.21%
DEM - JAMES J. TEDESCO III — 59,924, 16.69%
DEM - P. CHRISTOPHER TULLY — 58,018, 16.16%
DEM - LORRAINE WALDES — 56,132, 15.63%
