Join us as we remember the “day that will live in infamy.” A lecture, slide, and music of the era presentation of the attack on Pearl Harbor and Oahu which plunged America into World War II– and left 1,100 sailors and Marines entombed in the USS Arizona. The program concludes with slides of the island campaign in the Pacific leading to the Japanese surrender in 1945 aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay. The USS Missouri is now permanently docked in Pearl Harbor.
