Gallery Talk about the Neighborhood of Fardale

On Sunday, March 16, at 3:00 p.m. please join us at the Mahwah Museum as Gail Doscher, long time volunteer and former Museum Trustee, leads a gallery talk about the history of the neighborhood of Fardale, whose businesses once included lumber, ice harvesting, trucking and farming. Ms. Doscher will speak about Fardale community associations, its farming past,and about many of the lovely historical homes in the area. The talk will be held in the Neighborhoods of Mahwah” exhibit; admission is $3.

The Mahwah Museum, 201 Franklin Turnpike, is open Wednesdays and weekends from 1-4 p.m. and is featuring the exhibit “Neighborhoodsof Mahwah: 1913-2013” and “Les Paul in Mahwah.” The Donald Cooper Model Railroad is open weekends from 1-4 p.m. Admission to the Museum is $5 for non-members, and free to members and children.
