Mahwah Republican Club Meeting and Essay Scholarship Awards

The Mahwah Republican Club will be holding its monthly meeting on
Wednesday, May 28th 7:30pm (refreshments served at 7:15pm) at the Mahwah
Senior Center, 475 Corporate Drive in the Terrace Room. The Club will
announce and present the awards for its 2014 Essay Contest. A total of
$1,325.00 worth of scholarships are eligible to be awarded. Joining in
the award ceremony will be District 39 Assemblyman Bob Auth. Mr. Auth
was instrumental in developing this year's essay topic. This year's
topic is "Why did the founders choose representative government?".  The
public is encouraged to attend on this great night where we get to hear
the words and thoughts of our local passionate youth. For additional
