“Phantom of the Ramapos” and “Ghosts in Allendale” author Jim Wright

Phantoms in the Ramapos?  Ghosts in Allendale?  Some say there are ghosts in the hills, swamps, and towns here abouts.  Join ghost writer Jim Wright as he reads his two popular local haunted tales -- one set in Allendale during the Revolutionary War and the other set in several locals in North Jersey 75 years ago.  Both were inspired by local history, and both stories will be accompanied by a slide show.   "The Ghosts of Allendale" tale is illustrated with the book’s original artwork by Northern Highlands  students; "Phantoms of the Ramapos" is illustrated with archival photos of the Ho-Ho-Ku Speedway, old downtown  Allendale, and the Darlington Schoolhouse. The stories will be followed by a brief  question-and-answer period.  This Halloween you decide if the stories are true.  This program is free.  No registration is necessary.  Seats are available on a “first come” basis. Both stories are also available as free iTunes downloads.
