Public Seminar: "One Step Ahead"

Primoris Academy is pleased to announce an educational  seminar especially for parents of gifted and high-ability children. The seminar is entitled, "One Step Ahead! - Understanding and raising a gifted, high-ability child" and is presented by psychologist Alison Brown. The seminar is open to the public, but registration is required to attend. This parent information evening addresses the following issues:

  • What sets gifted children apart?
  • Discipline - 10 Secrets to Success
  • The "HOT" issues (parent perspectives)
  • Where things can go wrong
  • Discipline methods / Behavior management
  • Developmental / Cognitive issues
  • Systems that work
  • Self-esteem and happiness

When and Where:

Date: Monday, April 28, 2014
Time: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Place: Primoris Academy, 120 Washington Ave., Westwood, NJ
Cost: Suggested donation of $10 per person at the door
