Robert Kratch to Speak at Museum Event

Robert Kratch, former Mahwah High football star and right guard for the Giants in the 1990 Super Bowl will be a special guest speaker at an event sponsored by the Mahwah Museum at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 30 at the Ramapo Reformed Church, 100 Island Rd, Mahwah.  Admission is free but reservations are encouraged because space is limited.  Reservations can be made on www.mahwahmuseum.org.

Bob Kratch graduated from Mahwah High School in 1984 and starred on a team coached by Ed Caporale that went to the State finals.  He played his college football at the University of Iowa and was drafted in 1989 by the Giants where he played for five seasons, including the 1990 Super Bowl win.  He later played three seasons for the Patriots where he also played in the Super Bowl on the team that lost to the Green Bay Packers in 1997.

As part of the Museum's Super Bowl week celebrating  Super Bowl XLVIII, Bob will share stories of his time playing at Mahwah High and in the Super Bowls.

Although he now lives and has a business in Minnesota, he says that his heart is still with the Giants.

All those who attend this free event will have a chance to win an official Super Bowl Program from 1990 which Bob will autograph for the lucky winner.

The Mahwah Museum receives operating support from the New Jersey Historical Commission in the Department of State.
