Fashion Extravaganza to Benefit Mahwah 3-Year-Old Battling Cancer

Event is set to include a children's fashion show, dance performances, carnival games, and a DJ from radio station 103.5 KTU.

An annual fashion extravaganza fundraiser is set to benefit a Mahwah three-year-old who was diagnosed with t-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia late last year.

Zayna's Cares recently announced that its fundraiser, happening March 23 at the Venetian in Garfield, will benefit Jake Buhagiar, who organizers describe as a strong child who loves his family, playing soccer, and superheroes.

The Fashion Extravaganza is a “family event with over 700 guests that features a children's fashion show, dance performances, carnival-like games, vendor marketplace,” and more, Dallal Bayan of Zayna Cares, said. Bayan formed the non-profit in 2011 to help families of children battling serious diseases.
