Fundraiser to Benefit Mahwah's 'Circle of Freedom' Memorial
The township is planning a new memorial at Veterans Park.
The following was submitted to Patch by the Mahwah Beautification Committee.
On Tuesday, July 9, The Grille at 1033 MacArthur Boulevard in Mahwah will host a fundraiser to benefit the Mahwah Beautification Committee’s Circle of Freedom, a memorial garden in Veterans’ Park.
The restaurant will donate 10 percent of the dinner receipts that evening to the memorial garden. Everyone is welcome. Reservations are recommended. The restaurant may be contacted at (201) 962-3310.
The Circle of Freedom will feature 12 memorial plaques the veterans have requested. These memorials will be surrounded with a flowering perennial garden. The committee is raising funds to finance the project by Veterans’ Day.
