Mahwah's Annual Lake Henry Clean-Up in Need of Volunteers

Clean-up is this Saturday.

Mahwah is organizing its annual cleanup of Lake Henry behind Continental Soldiers Park, and is looking for volunteers.

The clean-up is happening this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, rain or shine.

Volunteers meet at the park and set out to clean up the wooded area surrounding the lake of debris that has collected there over the winter.

Volunteers do not need to sign up in advance, and local kids looking to fill volunteer hour requirements can receive letters from the township for three hours of service if they volunteer at the event.
