Relay for Life of Mahwah, Ramsey Kicks Off Wednesday
Locals can join a Relay team, or get involved in other ways.
The Relay for Life of Ramsey and Mahwah is coming up this spring, and the official kickoff of the anti-cancer fundraising season is Wednesday night.
Ramsey High School will host the event, which starts at 7 p.m.
According to organizers, locals can learn how to get involved with Relay, whether or not they join a Relay team, and hear from guest speakers Samantha and Ava Rasmussen.

Ava, an eight-year-old who’s been battling leukemia since 2012, and her mom, Samantha, are set to start off this year’s superhero-themed fight against cancer.
