Mahwah Police Undercover As Secret Santa

The following was submitted to Patch by the Mahwah Police Department. 

The Mahwah Police Department, Mahwah Municipal Alliance and Mayor William Laforet assisted Santa Claus on Christmas Eve to deliver presents to families throughout the Township.

Secret Santa disguised as Mahwah Police Officers and Detectives made special visits to families to make this a very special Christmas to many families.  

Mahwah Municipal Alliance President Carolyn Blake expressed that the Alliance is very  proud to work with the Police Department to make this a very special holiday for families in the Township who are facing difficult times.

This is only one of many holiday events sponsored by the Mahwah Municipal Alliance.  Mayor Laforet, who sits on the Municipal Alliance Board, applauded the efforts of the Police Department and the Alliance in working together for a common goal, and thanked them.

These officers like so many other law enforcement officers and emergency services personnel  across the country who have to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and their efforts to give back to the community and make it a special holiday speaks about the quality of law enforcement in Mahwah.
