Rutgers Edits School Song To Be Gender-Neutral

Rutgers University has edited the words to its 140 year old school song "On the Banks of the Old Raritan" to be gender-neutral, NJ.com reports.

Old first verse: "My father sent me to old Rutgers/ And resolv'd that I should be a man."

New first verse: "From far and near we came to Rutgers/ And resolved to learn all that we can."
