Edwin J. Weaver, 81, died on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 of Mahwah, NJ.
Mr. Weaver was born and resided in Mahwah for 81 years. He was the owner of the Community Shoppe "Weaver's" until he retired in 1988. Mr. Weaver is survived by his wife Betty (Kelly) Weaver; brother William Weaver of Florida; sons John Weaver of Little Silver, NJ, Richard Weaver of Dacula, GA; daughters Laura Mattson of Mahwah, NJ and Beth Peterson of Cape May, NJ; and six grandchildren, Melissa, Lauren, Hollie, William, Reilly and Jolee.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey.
A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 10 AM at the Ramapo Reformed Church in Mahwah, NJ. (Everyone please meet at church)
Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Manorton, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Edwin's name to the Mahwah Fire Department Company #1 or the National Parkinson's Foundation.
