When Mason was born on Jan. 13, he weighed only one pound, seven ounces. Community members have spent the past month fundraising to help pay for his medical treatment. The Saving Mason Digulio fund had already raised $3,160.

The Burris-DiGiulio family, which has long roots in Mahwah, moved recently to Saddle Brook. Mason leaves behind his parents, MaryBeth and Jeffrey, siblings Marcus and Jayleigh, and many other family members, friends and many concerned members of the community.
