Mahwah Edges Win over Westwood - 24 to 20

Strong team effort works in Mahwah's favor as they edged out another win last Friday over Westwood High School.
Offensive lineman Luke Boonstra was the first to score for Mahwah on a 2 yard rushing TD. Zach Freguletti scored the PAT.
In the 3rd quarter, the Mahwah offensive line marched down field to set-up Zach Freguletti for a 25 yard field goal. Then Zach Herrmann threw a 39 yard pass to Greg Rozar to make the game 17 to 6.

Westwood returned the score in the fourth quarter to make the game 17 to 13. Red Askew chipped away at yardage then scored a touchdown on a 12 yard run. Freguletti made the point after for bring the score to 24 to 13.
In the final moments, Westwood came back to score again --- making the game Mahwah 24, Westwood 20.
