Neighborhood Focus -- Applewood Estates

Lovely tree-lined streets of over 100 homes built in the early 1990's by Pinnacle Communities.

Lovely tree-lined streets set on a hillside near the Ramsey and Upper Saddle River borders is a community of over 100 homes built by the premier builder and developer,  Pinnacle Communities. Groundbreaking for Applewood Estates was in the early 1990's and the neighborhood is still very much in demand today because of the popular 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2 story colonial floorplans.

Each with it's own personality and homeowner design touches, the homes range in size from approximately 2,400 to over 3,400 square feet. The lot sizes range from 1/3  to 3/4 of an acre with manicured lawns, mature trees and shrubs and well-cared for exteriors. Prices in 2012 can range from $665,000 to $1,395,000 (available, under contract or sold in 2012).

Children in Applewood Estates currently attend the Betsy Ross Elementary school in Cragmere for Kindegarden through 2nd grade; Joyce Kilmer school for grades 3 to 5; Ramapo Ridge Middle School for 6, 7 and 8th grades; and Mahwah High School.
