Bergen County Man Found Fatally Shot on I-80 in Saddle Brook

Police say they are investigating a Thursday shooting that claimed the life of a 39-year-old Hackensack man.

The New Jersey State Police are seeking the public’s help in an ongoing homicide investigation, police announced in a release Friday.

Police released the following public announcement:

Detectives from the New Jersey State Police Major Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance with the homicide investigation of Jeff Mansilla, 39, of Hackensack, N.J.

On Thursday, June 12, 2013, at approximately 3:08 a.m., troopers from Totowa Station responded to the report of a shooting on Interstate 80 eastbound in the area of milepost 63.  The details of the incident, including the location of the shooting, are currently under investigation.
