Temporary repairs planned for a Mahwah bridge could shut it down for several weeks, the police department announced on the township website Friday.
According to the announcement, the Glen Gray Bridge was closed Friday for emergency repairs. Temporary repairs will be made to the bridge now, but a plan for a permanent fix will be put in place, the announcement said.
Locals residents were notified of the closure, which will create a detour throughout the area that will go through Oakland.
According to the announcement, cars will need to take Patriot’s Way off of Route 202 to access Midvale Mountain Road, Stables Way, Fox River Crossing, and Camp Glen Gray.
