MFD Uses Pasta to Raise Dough for Departments Hit Hard by Sandy

The Mahwah Fire Department helped the Moonachie and Little Ferry FDs recover during Sandy. Now, a fundraiser in the township is helping them rebuild.

A photo gallery above shows pictures from Mahwah Fire Department Company 4's annual pasta dinner, which residents attended Saturday. This year, it raised funds for the fire departments in Moonachie and Little Ferry, which were devastated during Hurricane Sandy.

The pasta dinner served 164 dinners, and raised over $2,000, about $1,000 for each department.

The Mahwah Fire Department responded to those towns to assist during the storm.
