MMA Raffling Mercedes Benz

Only 699 will be sold

Mahwah residents have a one in 699 shot at a brand new Mercedes-Benz, thanks to the Raffle. Money raised from the fundraiser supports MMA programs like D.A.R.E., the Junior Police Academy, and the Youth Leadership Academy.

The MMA is a group of resident and police volunteers who put together community and student wellness programs. In the past, funds from the raffle have been used to support programs in Mahwah township schools. MMA members say that about 80 percent of the money they raise throughout the year comes from the Mercedes raffle. The balance comes mostly from private donations.

“We only sell 699 tickets,” MMA member Todd Van Duren said, “so your chances of winning of great, and you’re supporting an amazing organization that does a lot for our kids at the same time.” Mayor Bill Laforet, an MMA member, added, “People are always asking us how they can get involved and help the programs that we put on all year. This is the best way they can help."
