A Mahwah man was one of four arrested in a Paterson drug raid, according to an NJ.com report.
According to the report, police seized more than $15,000 worth - or about a pound and a half - of heroin, 61 bags of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, $719 in cash, and three weapons from a city home during the raid last Friday morning. The raid was the result of a three-week long investigation into illegal activity at the house, the report said.
Mark Bennett, 24, of Mahwah, was arrested on possession of heroin and possession with intent to distribute charges, the report said. He was processed and released on his own recognizance, the report said.
Three others – Tahjere James, 21, and Everton James, 36, who both live at the Paterson home, and Nicolas Fondaco, 20, of Flanders – were also arrested on various drug-related charges, NJ.com reported.
Tahjere James and Fondaco are being held at police HQ in Paterson until a judge sets bail, and Everton James was released of his own recognizance, the report said.
