UPDATE: Council President Says Mayor Signed Crossroads Ordinances
Ordinances must now go before the Planning Board
The took one more step toward becoming a reality this week.
"I have been advised that Mayor DaPuzzo has signed all three Crossroads ordinances," Council President John Roth said Wednesday. These measures would allow for the vacant land surrounding the to be developed into a shopping complex including one or two box stores, a movie theater, and a "downtown, pedestrian friendly" design.
The ordinances now must go before the planning board.

The three controversial ordinances were approved , at a meeting where residents expressed extreme distaste for the proposed changes to the space, which is currently zoned for office space.
