Senator Gerald Cardinale To Attend Meet-And-Greet At Mahwah Library

Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors hosts Senator Cardinale at Mahwah Library on April 26

A contact at your target company, advice on navigating the unemployment claims process, suggested wording for a follow-up email, or simply support from other people going through job transitions – you might find any of these things at a local Neighbors-helping-Neighbors (NhN) meeting.

NhN is a non-profit organization that was founded to assist unemployed and under-employed residents of Northern New Jersey. Meetings take place weekly in various libraries in Bergen, Passaic, Morris and Essex counties.

Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors will be taking a break from its regular meeting format on Thursday, April 26 when Senator Gerald Cardinale  joins us at the Mahwah Library from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. All NhN members and guests are welcome.

Senator Cardinale represents District 39 (Bergen and Passaic) which
has eight NhN programs: Closter, Dumont, Emerson, Mahwah, Oakland, Oradell,
Ringwood and Westwood.

Senator Cardinale will participate in a question and answer session.  NhN’s library partnerships will be discussed, including the group’s future plans for outreach and awareness. Guests and members are also invited to meet with several local mayors expected to be in attendance.
