The Walk-A-Thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The money raised allows the HSO to enhance our students’ school experience in many ways. As a result of the event the HSO is able to providing funding for assemblies and field trips, obtain new classroom technology for our students, and facilitate programs such as the Read-A-Thon, Science Day, and Field Day.

At Betsy Ross, this is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Our goal is for this fundraiser to substantially finance the HSO budget for the year, and thereby reduce the number of smaller fundraisers. It’s a great day for the whole family, starring your child.

Friends and family pledge money for each lap your child walks. Awards are given based on the number of laps completed and monies raised. During the day, there is a TRICKY TRAY BASKET RAFFLE where you can win beautiful gift baskets, and a FOOD SALE where you can purchase tasty treats and refreshments for the whole family for nutrition, snacks and energy at this active, family-friendly event.
