Mahwah Named on Top NJ High School List

MHS ranked #31 on the US News & World Report list.

Mahwah High School has been ranked one of the top high schools in the state, according to an annual ranking released by US News & World Report this week.

MHS ranked #31 of all public high schools in New Jersey on the list, which considers factors like state test results and students’ college preparedness.

"We are very proud of our district’s accomplishments in regard to our ranking in US News," Mahwah Superintendent Lauren Schoen said of the ranking.

"It is through the dedicated efforts of our entire district including our administrators, teachers and students that we continue to do well." 

Mahwah High was one of only three Bergen County schools in the Top 40 NJ list, with Bergen Tech coming in at #5, and Tenafly High School at #18.

Schools on the NJ list were also ranked nationally – Mahwah came in at #900 of the more than 19,000 schools considered for the list.
