Mahwah School Board Leadership Remains Constant for 2014

Shada, Saldarini, and Davis will remain in their president and VP positions for this year.

The leadership of the Mahwah Board of Education will remain the same in 2014, after a reorganization meeting Wednesday reelected three board members to the posts they held in 2013.

Wednesday night, Board Member Tricia Shada was named board president, a role that she’s held for several years.

After her unanimous reelection to the position, Shada thanked her fellow board members for their confidence, and said she was “excited” to lead the council in 2014.

Last year’s first and second Vice Presidents, Chuck Saldarini and Christine Davis, were reelected to those positions for 2014, as well.

Also at the annual reorganization meeting, the board officially recognized the results of the November school board election in which four of the currently serving board members ran unopposed.
