Do you know what is sad? Of those top twenty high schools for NJ only one made it in the top 100 of the country. That was Elizabeth High School, a high school with a dismal budget and mediocre conditions from a high crime and low income city. How did they do it??? The teachers and principal care and do their jobs. Just goes to say one thing, high BOE taxes do not equate to a good school system. Wayne BOE has a lot of explaining to do if they attempt to raise taxes again for some lame reason as to comply with the state core curriculum, they have the money, they just have to spend it wisely.
