Mahwah Hockey Captains Honored at NJ Devils Game

Trio was on the ice in front of 18,000 fans at the Devils' annual Captains Night.

This week at the Prudential Center in Newark, the New Jersey Devils held their annual Captain’s Night. 

The captains from high school hockey teams around the state were honored, during an on-ice ceremony, in front of the 18,000 fans attending the game between the Devils and the Nashville Predators.  Representing the Mahwah High School hockey team at the event were Captains John Kapoian, Mike Matos, and Nick Raia. 
The Thunderbirds, whose entire schedule can be found at the website www.mahwahhockey.com, start their season on Friday November 29 at the Ice Vault in Wayne against Wayne Hills beginning at 7:45 p.m.
