Roller Hockey Registration Runs Through October

Non-checking youth league plays teams from around North Jersey

Signups for the upcoming Mahwah Youth Sports Roller Hockey season have begun.

The league is open to any students born between September 1994 and September 2003 from Mahwah, Suffern and Ramsey.

According to the league’s assistant commissioner Kevin Walther, “it is an organized non-checking youth league which runs from approximately Dec. 1 to mid-March. All boys and girls are welcome from ages 9-17. They are divided into separate leagues through grades, like 4th to 6th, 7th to 9th and 10th to 12th. [We accept players with] skill levels of all variety.”

According to the TMYSB website, games throughout the season are held outdoors, and are played against teams from other North Jersey towns.

Online registration for the league runs through Halloween.
