State Champ Baseball Ceremony Postponed

Once a reschedule date is chosen, the team wants to invite the community to celebrate its victory

A ceremony planned to honor the members of the 2012 State Champion Mahwah Baseball Team has been postponed.

Originally scheduled for Saturday evening, the event was postponed Friday after a Mahwah football game against Ridgefield Park was rescheduled for Saturday due to rain. Since baseball coach Jeff Remo also coaches the football team, Athletic Director Roger Pelletier announced Friday the baseball ceremony would need to be postponed.

Once a date is chosen, the AD will announce the new ceremony time, as the baseball program wants to invite the community to celebrate the team’s victory.
