Super Bowl XLVIII is coming to Bergen County next February. The build up in Mahwah is starting already, and it might land you a pair of tickets to the game.
New Jersey Blood Services announced in a release Monday that it is partnering with the Super Bowl Host Committee and the NJ Workplace Coalition to host a series of blood drives throughout the tri-state area leading up to the big game. And, Mahwah is getting in on the pre-game action next week.
The Mahwah Public Library’s Winter Room will host a drive next Tuesday, July 16, from 1-7 p.m. All donors at this and other participating blood drives in the area will be entered into a raffle to win tickets to Super Bowl XLVIII. Commemorative wristbands will also be given out at the drives.

The Super Community Blood Drive initiative is happening through next January, and New Jersey Blood Services is still looking for organizations to host drives throughout the area. Any interested organization should contact Marie Forrestal at 732-220-7184.
