The following was submitted to Patch by the Apex Wrestling School.
Apex Wrestling School is proud to announce the return of world renowned wrestler and Bellator MMA Interim Bantamweight World Champion Joe Warren. Joe will be available to all Apex Wrestling members for classes and clinics on May 29 at the school's Kenilworth location, and on May 31 at its Mahwah location.
Warren, 37, has compiled an overall mixed martial arts record of 11-3 record on his way to capturing two world championships. Known internationally for his tenacious, confident and explosive attitude, Joe provides valuable on-and-off the mat lessons that are specifically geared toward youth and high school wrestlers.
Joe is a frequent visitor of Apex Wrestling Schools as he enjoys promoting youth wrestling all over the United States. He joined “The Fight to Save Wrestling in the Olympics” in 2013 with other notable wrestling and mixed martial arts figures including Jordan Burroughs and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Damion Logan, former Michigan Wolverine teammate of Joe and Owner/Head Coach of Apex Wrestling School, has provided his wrestling knowledge during Joe’s international mixed martial arts career, specifically in weight management, scouting the opposition and mental preparation.
Locals are welcome to attend for $30/class. Private lessons are available per availability. Full schedule of classes and extended details for each location can be found at apexwrestlingschool.com/thereturn.
