Fireworks Display To Help Kick Off Summer Concert Series Thursday

Ramapo College will host four tribute show this summer

The 2012 TD Bank Summer Concert Series hosted by The Foundation begins Thursday night with a tribute show and fireworks display at the Ramapo Valley Road Campus.

Cover band Separate Ways will perform 'The Ultimate Journey Show,' which promises to take audiences back to the 80s when the timeless music of Journey ruled the airwaves.

Concert goers are encouraged to pack a picnic dinner, chairs and blankets and to bring their friends for a community night out. There will also be vendors, including the , selling food.

The concert, held at the Bandshell on the College campus, begins at 8 p.m.  The concert is free; parking is $5 per vehicle.

Following the concert on July 12, Ramapo College will host a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. Fireworks rain date is July 19. In case of rain, concerts will be held in Bradley Center Arena.

The lineup for the remainder of the Summer Concert Series includes:

July 19: Jersey Four - Tribute to the Four Seasons

This ultimate tribute to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons will bring back memories of the 60s with the songs of these Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends.           

July 26: UNCHAINED - Van Halen Tribute 

Formed in 1998, UNCHAINED quickly became recognized as the premier Van Halen tribute band.  They have played top venues throughout the country and their music will rock the College’s Bandshell.    

August 2: The B Street Band - A Tribute to the Boss

The original Springsteen Tribute band, their authenticity has earned the respect and reputation of the music industry.  From the early days of “The Boss” to today, they encompass it all.
