Fundraiser for Betsy Ross Girl Battling Cancer Tuesday
Locals can stop by Betsy Ross for a Lia Sophia Open House benefitting Ava Rasmussen and her family.
The Mahwah community is rallying around a township 7-year-old and her family.
Ava Rasmussen was diagnosed with Leukemia last year. The Betsy Ross student is currently undergoing treatment at Hackensack University Medical Center.
Communty members have been working to create fundraisers to help raise money for the Rasmussen family. Betsy Ross is hosting one such event Tuesday.

The school will host two local Lia Sophia salespeople for an Open House from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday. Attendees will receive special pricing on jewelry, and proceeds will be donated to the family.
