Mahwah PBA Hosts Toy Drive For Local Kids

Donation boxes at 30 Mahwah businesses

Members of the Mahwah PBA 143 are asking residents to donate new, unwrapped toys to the PBA Toy Drive, an annual charity event that benefits local kids.

The donations go to “Military Families, Sanzari's Children's Hospital, Tomorrow's Children, Hackensack University Pediatric Center, Bergen County Head Start, Westside Infant and Teen Center, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and New Hope,” Mahwah PBA President Gerry Falotico said.

According to Falotico, the PBA was looking for local toy collection agencies to help when the group found this organization last year. “The Closter Police Department and more specifically P.O. Don Nicole has been running this program for more than twenty years.  When we found out how many other PBA Locals from Bergen County were involved, we wanted to jump on board,” he said.
