Talk on West Mahwah's History This Weekend

Event is one of a series of gallery talks that accompany the Mahwah Museum's 'Neighborhoods of Mahwah' exhibit.

The following was submitted to Patch by the Mahwah Museum.

This Sunday, November 17 at 3 p.m., lifelong Mahwah resident Gene Manghi will lead a gallery talk about the history of West Mahwah.  The lecture will take place at the Mahwah Museum’s “Neighborhoods of Mahwah” exhibit, 201 Franklin Turnpike.

Gene Manghi, with trustee Tom O’Brien, mounted the West Mahwah portion of “Neighborhoods.”

American Brakeshoe, The Ford Assembly Plant, Ramapo Valley Air Field and Janek’s Meat Market are a few of the topics of the West Mahwah exhibit.

The West Mahwah gallery talk is part of a series. Each month, a different neighborhood in the exhibit will be highlighted. During each gallery talk, questions and discussion will be encouraged.
