Pet owners and animal lovers came out to support the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge at the seventh annual Mutts Marathon, held at Bergen Community College. Besides the 1-mile walk around the campus, there were exhibits, demonstrations, special attractions, entertainment and fun for the whole family, whether human or pet. The Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge is a not-for-profit no-kill shelter supported entirely by the contributions of the community. The refuge focuses on finding homes for animals and providing families with the resources needed to become responsible, lifelong pet owners.
