Armed guards are definitely not the solution to school safety questions brought up after the Newtown school shooting, but there are other measures school districts in Bergen County could be taking to make schools safer. Sure, compel our kids by law to goto your schools (fine but the truth - unlike a trip to the mall or anywhere else, which is a choice, so if one is concerned, overly or not about their safety, they can just stay home)... and then hire a guard so bergen county residents can pay more, but please...make sure we don't arm him...a very effective conclusion.
