Annual walk held in Mahwah Sunday
Darlington County Park was taken over Sunday by the annual March for Babies, part of the March of Dimes charity organization. Marchers at the five-mile course in Mahwah raised funds to help fight premature birth. The organization expects it will raise about $3 million across New Jersey this year. WHAT: March for Babies is the flagship fundraising event for March of Dimes. The dollars raised support community programs, education and research which promote healthy pregnancies and healthy babies for all families. March for Babies® is a fun-filled and rewarding experience. Participants enjoy refreshments and warm-up exercises before the official start of the walk. The Darlington Park March for Babies, route is 5 miles long and takes place at the picturesque Darlington Park, in Mahwah, NJ.
