Former Bergen County Freeholder Rob Hermansen plans to run for his party's nomination for an assembly seat, reports say
A former Mahwah Councilman and ex-Bergen County Freeholder plans to run for the Republican nomination for a state assembly seat in the 39th District, reports said Wednesday. According to a NorthJersey.com report, Rob Hermansen, who served as a Mahwah councilman before he won a seat on the Bergen County Freeholder Board in 2009, announced Tuesday his intent to replace Republican Assemblyman Robert Schroeder, who is under indictment.
