Super Bowl Champs Help Mahwah Residents Break World Record
Two retired NY Giants spend the evening in town
Helping ring in a new record in Mahwah Thursday night were three football players who said they were “proud” to be a part of the event. “We are retired, but we do a lot of work at Giants Stadium for various events. We met Sgt. Curtis there, who works here in Mahwah and he approached us to be a part of the record,” said Sean Landeta, a two-time Super Bowl champion punter with the NY Giants. Joining him to sign autographs, take pictures and show off Super Bowl rings was Stephen Baker, “The Touchdown Maker,” a fellow Giant. Landeta was part of the Super Bowl XXI and XXV championship teams in 1987 and 1991, respectively. Baker was a wide receiver on the Super Bowl XXV team.
