How long have you lived in Mahwah? 18 years

Why are you running for a seat on the township council?

I’m running for township council because I believe it’s important for a younger generation to be involved in Mahwah politics and I would like to give back to a town that has given me so much.

Why do you feel you are the best candidate for the job?

As the candidate who has lived in the Mahwah the longest, I bring to the table my experience as a business owner, my knowledge in finance, and a new perspective that can contribute ideas and concerns that others may overlook.

What do you feel are some of the most important issues the township is facing?

  1. Honest, transparent government – Government that listens, residents should never feel like their voice isn’t being heard
  2. Taxes/The budget – Stabilize expenses, find ways to increase revenue, eliminate unnecessary costs
  3. Long term fiscal planning – Review the master plan periodically, make sure Mahwah is on the right track (5-10 years), plan for anything/everything
